LOUISE KIM SALTER

When I was a child, my mum was the creative force around me
encouraging me to engage in arts and crafts.

Every holiday would be archived
and documented;
leaves would be cellotaped and flowers would be pressed and then hand-drawn.
It became a way of being, a way of connecting with the world around me.

My grandad and I would create “home videos” using his digital camcorder
which have now become my most treasured videos.

I want to extend the creative joy discovered within my own childhood
by bringing this into other people’s lives.

In my third decade of life,
I stayed true to my dream.
I am a professional actress
and multi-disciplinery artist
working in film and theatre (I recently had my debut leading role
in a full-length feature film and a one-woman-show that toured the UK).
I write about my own ongoing creative process here.

I mentor postgraduate students at University of Cambridge
on the Creative Writing and Writing for Performance MSt.

By providing creative consultancy,
artistic influence and mentorship (for children, adults and elderly),
I have realised that an important part of my creative process is helping others to
(re)connect with their own artistic nature
and bring about more creative joy, self-expression and meaningful moments.

Hire me to bring
creativity, self-expression
& artistic joy
into your life.

Hire me to create artistic “home videos“
that immortalise your treasured memories that your future selves
(and/or children)
will thank you for.

I encapsulate the present moments for your future nostalgia through filming
moments in your children’s childhood,
your friend’s wedding,
your parent’s anniversary,
Auntie Angela’s birthday party,
baby showers, baptisms,
bat mitzvahs, your upcoming engagement
and important life moments.

Invite me to your family get-together
& I’ll capture the beautiful,
heartfelt moments as they unfold
in real time.
